Green City Force has opened my eyes to many opportunities. While I was in the program I was able to network and meet very interesting people. GCF introduced me to urban agriculture, where I learned how to grow and maintain fresh produce and how important composting is.
Before Green City Force I was doing security, working most hours of the day. I was feeling stranded with questions of what my next stop would be. During my time as a Corps Member I’ve gained awareness of the environmental troubles in the world and knowledgeable solutions on how I can change them, starting from home. After Green City Force I plan on going to school and working in the green field, whether it’s in agriculture or the sustainable energy field. I would like to thank everyone in GCF and a give special thanks to my team for our experiences during our journey.
