I chose to become a Corps Member of Green City Force because I felt GCF was the perfect match for me. The organization was exactly what I was in search of and they inspired me to want to do better for myself. I knew they were going to challenge me to be the best version of myself by being punctual, reliable, professional, and a team player with a great work ethic. The most important thing I learned during my time with GCF is what it means to be sustainable and why it’s important to maintain a sustainable lifestyle. After GCF I will be working as a porter with C&C, where I will continue to improve my leadership skills and build my resume so I can move on to bigger and better things. I would like to thank the most amazing team leader in GCF, Jennifer Tirado, and give special thanks to David Buckel for being a great mentor. I also want to thank my whole team (the farm team) because without each other we would not have accomplished so much. We have overcome so much adversity, but through everything we remained strong, and I am proud to say I was a part of this legacy. I love my team!
