Green City Force to me has not just been employment, but a sense of direction. In my time here I was exposed to so many different opportunities and career paths that were never properly shown to me growing up. Before GCF I was unemployed fresh out of high school and struggling to make a name for myself due to the strenuous job market. So, when a flyer for Green City Force was found in my building it was an opportunity I jumped on. I already loved nature throughout my life and was excited to start the job as my first. I was shown more grace and help than I ever expected. I would like to thank not only all the staff for their amazing work in this uplifting program for our communities but especially my Service Coordinator, Chastidy, and Kitson and Manuela, and supervisor Marc, for their unyielding dedication to making sure not just me but everyone makes it over the finish line.
