Chastidy is Service Coordinator at GCF’s Wagner Houses Eco-Hub in East Harlem. Prior to becoming staff, she was a Corps Member of Cohort 17 where she was introduced to farming, and two years later became an Eco-Hub Fellow for Cohorts 23 and 24. Being an Eco-Hub Fellow made her want to focus more on youth development. She then went on to teach high school teenagers how to grow food and live a healthy sustainable life with City Parks Foundation. Chastidy’s end goal is to create horticulture programs for at-risk teens/young adults.
