Anissa Wilkens, MSW is a Senior Career Services Coordinator at Green City Force where she works to empower Corps Members in developing skills and confidence to succeed in the workplace. With a passion for promoting liberation and justice, she has spent her career in social work and youth development creating equitable opportunities for young people of marginalized backgrounds to thrive. Prior to joining GCF, Anissa helped develop the postsecondary planning program at the Institute for Collaborative Education to support young people in identifying and achieving their educational and career goals. They also served as an AmeriCorps Member and Service Leader with City Year Buffalo providing academic and social-emotional support to students in under-resourced schools. A native of upstate New York, Anissa is a graduate of SUNY Geneseo and has a Master of Social Work from Hunter College.
