Michael Alsheimer is the Farm Operations Manager at Green City Force. Working with the Senior Farm Operations Manager and Eco-Hub Coordinators, he supports safe, productive farms and welcoming community spaces.
Before joining GCF, Michael worked in guest experience at Lincoln Center while cultivating his passion for gardening at home. He later spent two and a half years at Crossroads Farm at Grossmann’s, eventually managing its fields. Most recently, he helped establish a new farm at Kerber’s Farm. These experiences deepened his passion for agriculture, community, and the places where they intersect.
Michael is passionate about helping young adults explore green sector careers and build confidence through practical skills and meaningful work. His farm experience has taught him the value of patience, adaptability, and perseverance, alongside agriculture’s ability to strengthen communities. He looks forward to sharing these lessons and helping others recognize their potential and pursue fulfilling career paths within GCF.
