Service Coordinators guide young adults through GCF’s structured Service Corps experience, providing coaching, accountability, and hands-on opportunities to build the technical and leadership skills needed to launch careers in the green economy. Ideal candidates are passionate about mentoring young adults as they develop the skills, teamwork, and confidence necessary for launching sustainable careers in the green sector. Service Coordinators provide structure, instruction, and accountability while fostering a positive team environment, leveraging the six-month service experience to build a lasting foundation for program participants.
Service Coordinators have the opportunity to develop expertise across various GCF service tracks—including green infrastructure and construction, urban agriculture, energy efficiency, zero waste, and community resilience. Additional training and exposure opportunities will be available to help you develop familiarity across these core sustainability sectors.
