Green City Force has been a life-changing experience that gave me the structure, purpose, and direction I was searching for. Before joining, I knew I wanted to do something that would allow me to grow while also making a difference in my community, and GCF gave me that opportunity. The decision to become a Corps Member came from my desire to be part of something bigger than myself, to serve while building a foundation for my future. Throughout my time with GCF, I’ve gained professional skills, discipline, and confidence. The most important thing I’ve learned is that consistency and commitment are what drive real change. Every day brought new challenges, but also new chances to grow as a leader, teammate, and community member. These lessons are things I will carry with me for the rest of my life, both personally and professionally. I am especially grateful to the staff for their patience and support, to my peers for inspiring me to stay motivated, and to my family and friends for always believing in me. Green City Force has shown me that with hard work and dedication, I can create the future I want while giving back to the places I call home.
