Green City Force has been really helpful in ways that you cannot imagine. From helping me get certifications such as OSHA, SST, and GPRO to giving me opportunities to meet CEOs of top-of-the-line sustainable hair care companies that are sold in Sephora. GCF helped with resume build ups and maintaining great time management throughout this service term. I wanted to gain more experience with different hands-on training in urban agriculture. Before GCF, I was taking care of patients as a Home Health Aide. Keep pushing, persevere and never give up on your dreams. I just want to thank God first for keeping me going even when I couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. Shout out to Kawon plus my two Fellows, Aliyah and Stefaun, for being great by pushing me and educating me on everything I needed to know in urban agriculture. Lastly, I want to shout out my HOWARD TEAM OF COHORT 29! I love you all and I wouldn’t pick any other team to finish out my service term.
