GCF was impactful for me professionally and personally. I choose to become a Corps Member to be more involved in my community in a hands-on way. Before GCF I was working a meaningless 9-5 that didn’t satisfy me financially nor personally. I always felt I should be doing more and GCF further instilled that into me. I am now looking for a career in the green sector that will fulfill my goals personally and professionally. I learned a lot about myself emotionally and physically. I learned a lot about the green sector jobs and possible opportunities for advancement. The most important thing I’ve learned is to be yourself. No matter what anyone else thinks you can only be the best you. I want to thank Marc, Rosana, Chastidy and all my Fellows: Malcolm, Dani, and Kayla.
