Green City Force (GCF) is proud to be an official charity partner of New York Road Runners for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon—one of the world’s most iconic races—to champion a more sustainable, resilient NYC.
Just like GCF’s presence in every borough of NYC, the 26.2 mile course runs through all five boroughs. This year, supporters can go the distance by joining GCF’s marathon team!
Gear up for the largest marathon in the world’s 50th anniversary on Sunday, November 1, 2026 by becoming a GCF team runner (spots are limited!) or supporting a GCF team runner (check back soon for dedicated fundraising pages).
Runners will receive a coveted race entry, personalized fundraising support (for a minimum commitment of $3,000 raised by race day), team gear, and opportunities to connect with our community of climate leaders.
Every mile run and every dollar raised helps power hands-on environmental programming, workforce training, and green infrastructure projects across NYC public housing communities.
