GCF is thrilled and grateful to receive Community Project Funding from Brooklyn Congressman Hakeem Jeffries uplifting our young BIPOC adults’ work in urban agriculture and beyond for a just transition!
We are still so energized by all the support we received over the weekend at our Bay View Houses Eco-Hub! It was incredible to have national leaders Representative Jeffries and Representative McGovern meet our own GCF young adult leaders (including our own Hakim Jeffrey!) and see firsthand how they’re building our #futuregreencity through our four pillars: service, training, sustainability and justice. 💪🏿
