Happy Earth Week! Investing in our planet and our communities through our four pillars of service, training, justice, and sustainability is our north star.
While we see everyday as Earth Day, we’re excited to honor the occasion in extra special ways this week. This Saturday, April 23rd from 11am-2pm we’re inviting all of our NYCHA community members to our Eco-Hubs for a spring debut of site reconstructions featuring community giveaways, refreshments, and planting.
And, our celebration of GCF as NYCHA’s Civilian Climate Corps is just 2 days away! If you haven’t yet RSVP’d, it’s not too late! Come celebrate alongside our Corps Members and Alumni leading the way to achieve local, national, and global goals for climate and equity! The event is open to the public. Plant-forward food and drink will be served. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
