Congratulations to Cohort 23!!!
Yesterday graduates, family members, staff, board members, partners, supporters, friends, alumni and Cohort 24 all came together to celebrate the grit, power, passion and many accomplishments of our newest alumni. 🎓 After two years of virtual celebrations, we were so grateful to hold the special event with our community in person!

We thank all of our wonderful, incredibly inspiring guest speakers: GCF board members Erika Symmonds and Ibrahim Abdul-Matin; Vlada Kenniff, the Senior Vice President for Sustainability at NYCHA; Rory M. Christian, Commissioner at the NYS Public Service Commission; Cohort 20 alum and Compost Power member, Bradley Fernandez…and the amazing Peggy Shepard, founder and Executive Director of We ACT for Environmental Justice, as keynote speaker!
