Mara Cerezo serves as the Senior Program Officer at Green City Force (GCF), where she leads GCF’s alumni services and sector-based employment initiatives to ensure quality jobs for GCF graduates in the evolving fields of sustainability and resiliency. Mara has over 15 years of experience in community and workforce development. Prior to working at GCF, she served as Executive Director of a multi-service community center with an array of programs for a predominantly immigrant neighborhood in Rhode Island. Mara is a 2019 graduate of Coro NY’s Workforce Systems Leadership Program, a fellowship for senior workforce leaders to drive innovative practices and improve service delivery for low-income New Yorkers. Mara has a B.A. in History from Brown University; and an Executive MPA from Baruch College’s Marxe School of Public and International Affairs. Mara is also a proud AmeriCorps VISTA Alumna.
