Abasi Clark is the Director of Development where he leads the fundraising and communication strategy for Green City Force. Abasi has spent his career leading initiatives and campaigns focused on community development and enrichment around New York City. Before joining GCF, he led the fundraising efforts at Generation Citizen, Inc., was the Senior Development Manager at March of Dimes New York leading their March for Babies and Run for Babies campaigns, and at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society leading their Walk MS campaign. He has been instrumental in developing strategies to engage individual and corporate donors while working closely with board members, volunteers, and institutional partners. He is an alumnus of Hunter College and Columbia University. He developed a passion for community empowerment when his father would bring him and his siblings to rallies for his union and social justice issues. Abasi grew up in Washington Heights and now lives in Harlem.
